Free browser checklists help you prepare. Plus keeps reusable private account plans and brings chosen follow-ups into My Day.

Healthcare paperwork & appointments

Prepare questions about coverage, appointments and bills, then keep a clear next action.

Administrative planning only. Use the official office for eligibility, coverage and requirements. Avoid entering diagnoses, identity numbers or private details about children or other people.

Confirm the route for your care

Use your insurer’s official directory and call the provider. Ask about the exact clinician, location and service; keep estimates separate from confirmed coverage.

Prepare the appointment questions

Write the administrative question, appointment details and any accessibility or language support you want to request. Keep clinical records in the provider’s secure system.

Compare the paperwork

For a billing concern, ask for an itemized bill and compare it with your insurer’s explanation of benefits. Ask the billing office about an unexplained difference rather than assuming the bill is correct or stopping payment without a plan.

Record the next administrative step

Record who you contacted, the question they answered and the follow-up date they gave you. Confirm any actual payment or appeal deadline with the responsible office.

Questions to take to the office

  • Is this provider and location covered by my plan? What must I confirm with the insurer?
  • Which paperwork is needed, where should I send it, and how will you confirm receipt?
  • Can you explain the bill item I am asking about and the next step for review?

The account plan appears in My Day when it has a date and is unfinished. Saving does not change your email settings; existing opted-in agenda or deadline emails can include the dated action.
